What fantastic news that John’s Gospel will be brought to life in a new production that will be broadcast over the next few days. The first episode is early on Good Friday.
The film will be shown as a 3 episode television series on BBC Two this Easter on Friday 3rd April at 8.00am, Sunday 5th April at 8.05am and Monday 6th April at 8.15am www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05q64kv/episodes/guide
This is the first time on British television that a film using the actual words of the Gospel of John (New International Version) will be broadcast. This will give viewers a unique way to engage with the gospel story.
If you miss the broadcasts they look like they might be available of BBC iplayer and also they will be available on Netflix and through iTunes.
The films of the remaining three gospels will be released over the next 18 months.
