On the afternoon of Sunday the 25th June there will be a Deanery Pilgrimage where christians from many of the churches in the Fareham Deanery will walk, cycle or drive from their home areas to congregate at Titchfield Abbey.
The primary aim is to discover more of, and reflect on, our local spiritual heritage and to build on it for our own ministry and mission in Fareham Deanery. An entertainer has been booked from between 2.00pm and 3.00pm, with a service of celebration to be held at 3.00pm. People will be free to enjoy a BYO tea and each other’s company thereafter, with the site closed to visitors by 5.00pm. We are planning arrangements to help the less mobile participate. Portaloos have been booked too!
Parking is available, with a shuttle mini-bus, at the Titchfield Rec, for those who can only manage a very short walk. Further parking is being made available at the top (not main) car park of the neighbouring garden centre.
Attached is a booklet to help you with your walk and planning for the day: Walk Handbook
