Come along at 12.45pm to hear Jessica talk about her experience of working with victims of human trafficking in India
Jessica Gunjal, who is coming, has worked with Oasis for the past 12 years in a number of capacities all related to women who have suffered abuse or have been trafficked. She specialises in the rehab area helping girls overcome their trauma and find a path through to a place of wholeness. She has worked with their team in the government home supporting rescued girls, done some outreach in the Red Light areas as well as run the half way home they run. She will speak about how girls get to be trafficked in the first place, what life is like once they have been and what happens to them when they have been rescued or are able to leave and begin a new life. She will share stories of how girls lives have been transformed and how the communication of God's love for them as unique individuals plays a key part in the process of change.
